This was filmed in April 2024, when we called off the event of the month on account we had mistakenly fixed the date during the Golden Week.
Taking the opportunity, Taito sensei and I decided to exchange our thoughts on our monthly Social / Cultural Activity moving forward :)
It's a relatively long video, all in Japanese and unedited, so the quality is not as good as it can be, but the ideas we discussed eventually led us to joining World Unite for events. It turned out to be an important milestone for us :)

We have been organising a Social / Cultural Activity every month (except for Januaries) since May 2014 and we still value them to date.
We believe that the opportunities to meet and share experience and knowledge is essential in learning a language :)

from 11:00 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m.
Meeting place :
Kawagoe Station on the JR and Tobu Tojo Line (just outside the east exit)
※Please note that this is not Kawagoe-shi Station or Hon-Kawagoe Station.

**[Schedule]**
11:00 AM – Meet at the station and do ice-breaking activities. 11:20 AM (approx.) – Make mixed Japanese and WH participants groups.
11:30 AM (approx.) – Head to the main street together.
11:45 AM (approx.) – Visit Kumano Shrine.
12:00 PM (approx.) – Free time for participants to explore the main street (including shops and restaurants) in their groups. 2:30 PM – Meet at Hikawa Shrine.
3:00 PM (approx.) – Event concludes.
Kawagoe is called “koedo (little edo).” Kawagoe has many remaining kura storehouses, and it remains the atmosphere of Edo period. If you are interested in Japanese history, you must visit Kawagoe! Also, the Kawagoe Kumano-jinja Shrine has many noteworthy spots.
