Lesson Fees, Terms and Conditions
Fees for the lessons on Skype are as followed:
A 60-minute Private Lesson online is 2700 yen (tax included).
A 90-minute Private Lesson online is 3600 yen (tax included).
A 120-minute Private Lesson online is 4800 yen (tax included).
A 60-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) online is 1600 yen per person (tax included).
A 90-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) online is 2400 yen per person (tax included).
A 120-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) online is 3200 yen per person (tax included).
Fees for the lessons at our classrooms are as followed:
A 60-minute Private Lesson (1 to 1) at our classrooms is 3950 yen (tax included).
A 90-minute Private Lesson (1 to 1) at our classrooms is 5700 yen (tax included).
A 120-minute Private Lesson (1 to 1) at our classrooms is 7600 yen (tax included).
A 60-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) at our classrooms is 2000 yen per person (tax included).
A 90-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) at our classrooms is 3000 yen per person (tax included).
A 120-minute Semi Private Lesson (1 to 2 or 1 to 3) at our classrooms is 4000 yen per person (tax included).
(Semi-Private lessons are available for those who wish to study with their partner, family and colleagues, providing their purpose of learning and their current Japanese levels are the same.)
We can also book rental private space/offices at your preferred location with additional rental fees that start from 500 yen per hour.
(With lessons that take place outside our classrooms, there will be an additional charge as the teacher's round trip transportation cost.)

Please note that booking lessons with us requires advance payment in the form of bank wire transfer or credit card payment online or PayPal from the first lesson. And, your booking(s) will be confirmed when we confirm receipt of your payment.

(PayPal will deduct handling fees and apply unique exchange rates before each transfer. Unfortunately, we do not know exactly how their system works so please put additional e.g. 200 yen or 300 yen on top and send it to us please, so that the sufficient amount will reach our end. )
If you prefer credit card payment online, please let us know how many lessons you would like to pay for. Accordingly, we will create an invoice and email it to you with a link that you can click to go to a designated page where you can pay by credit card.
Please kindly note that, except for the first lesson, we ask everybody to pay at least 10000 yen per payment from the second lesson and onwards (We keep track of your balance and deduct the fee from it after each lesson. When the balance becomes low, we will let you know and ask you for replenishment.), all handling charges are the responsibility of the sender and once made, fees are not refundable and not transferable to others, e.g. family members and friends.
When you have made the payment, please kindly let us know so that we can confirm receipt of your payment and your booking(s). Subsequently, we will forward you the contact details of your teacher.
If we cannot confirm receipt of your payment at the latest 24 hours prior to the pre-scheduled commencement of the lesson(s), the pre-scheduled lesson(s) will be cancelled automatically without prior notice. Please kindly note that domestic fund transfer requests submitted after 14:30 (Japan Standard Time) on business days and on weekends or holidays will be processed on the following business day.
Regarding our cancellation and rescheduling policy, please note that we ask everyone to let us know by 24 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the lesson(s) at the latest so that we can inform the teacher in advance and also save your credit for the lesson(s). A make-up lesson will be then scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient with the student and the teacher and the saved credit will be carried-over to be used on the make-up lesson. However, cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the lesson(s) and no shows are charged at 100% of the fee of the day.
Please also note that notice of cancellation and rescheduling must be provided in writing and applied from the date it is received by Asao Language School at asaolanguage@gmail.com.

If the above arrangements work for you, please let us know your preferred times, dates and locations of your first lesson(s). Depending on our current availability, we might be able to accommodate your requests right away. If not, we will reschedule ourselves to do so as soon as we can.
