【Monthly Event of August : Kawagoe Street Walk 】

How are you?
I’m excited to announce you this month’s social event!
We are going to Kawagoe (Saitama prefecture) this Sunday!
If you want to make new friends, or if you want to feel the Edo period, please come and join us!
You can invite your friends/family members too.:)

Time :
from 11:00 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m.
Meeting place :
Kawagoe Station on the JR and Tobu Tojo Line (just outside the east exit)
※Please note that this is not Kawagoe-shi Station or Hon-Kawagoe Station.
Meeting time :
11:00 a.m.
What to bring :
Your own drink, etc.
Participation Fee:
1,100 YEN (Need to pay in advance)

**[Schedule]**
11:00 AM – Meet at the station and do ice-breaking activities. 11:20 AM (approx.) – Make mixed Japanese and WH participants groups.
11:30 AM (approx.) – Head to the main street together.
11:45 AM (approx.) – Visit Kumano Shrine.
12:00 PM (approx.) – Free time for participants to explore the main street (including shops and restaurants) in their groups. 2:30 PM – Meet at Hikawa Shrine.
3:00 PM (approx.) – Event concludes.
Kawagoe is called “koedo (little edo).” Kawagoe has many remaining kura storehouses, and it remains the atmosphere of Edo period. If you are interested in Japanese history, you must visit Kawagoe! Also, the Kawagoe Kumano-jinja Shrine has many noteworthy spots.
